360° Photos of Chisinau
Chisinau
I was advised that Moldova is the poorest country in Europe. Chisinau did have some obvious signs of poverty and I would expect you’d struggle to find an I-pod, but capitalism, is still very much alive. Chisinau had one of the largest markets I’ve ever seen. The range of goods on sale would impress Al’fayed – clocks, wallets, fish, cheese, coats... all the stalls were really close together making paths in between narrow enough to fit only one person and the whole setup seemed to a like a maze. It was also a surprisingly green place with plants, parks and trees growing throughout the city.
