Rome
As the heart of the Roman Empire, Rome takes its Photos of Italy proudly as one of the founding centres of western civilization. “What did the Romans do for us?” is an often-posed and often answered question. To use a seemingly blunt phase, the streets of Rome seemed to ‘leak’ history. Wandering round the bistros and piazzas I saw a plethora of churches, statues and fountains all beautifully constructed. Rome is full of ancient holy relics and buildings throughout, yet visitors of whatever religion are always amazed at the resplendent beauty of a city that always will have historical prominence.
