Paris
For a country mostly composed of rural communities, Paris stands as a proud and beautiful city in the heart of France. Nearly everyone – even those who have never visited, can reel off Paris’ landmarks by route – The Louvre, Notre Dame, L’arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel tower…
Arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Paris has a population of just over 2 million so is dwarfed by giants such as London or New York. But those who come here rarely fail to succumb to the charm of its magnificent avenues or cafés’ orientated social life. Paris is a vibrant and romantic city and whilst exploring I found the pace of life here to be energetic yet still remaining composed. This isn’t a city lost in the past as its day to day inhabitants get on with their modern existences as they would in any other western city.
