360° Photos of Helsinki

Helsinki
The Finnish capital sits on the coast defended by some imposing looking fortresses and other fortifications which are located on the many islands surrounding Helsinki. Finland was actually one of the few countries to remain unoccupied in Europe during world war two. Also, Finland is not actually part of Scandinavia (although many people think it is), it is actually a Baltic state along with Estonia. In Finland’s 90-odd year existence as an independent state, it has built itself up to be one the most stable economies in Europe and it really is one of Europe’s success stories. Its capital, Helsinki, was an enjoyable part of my trip.
