Zagreb
Although blighted by the war in its recent past, Zagreb is a vibrant and friendly city. Basically a town on a hill, it isn’t a particularly large city, but more of a humble town made up with winding cobbled streets which play host to churches, cafes, museums and open-air markets. At the end of the day I even treated my tired feet to a trip on the funicular railway.
